Our lives are made up of relationships, with family members, friends, teachers, colleagues, some of these connections are lifelong investments that have daily impact on our lives. Some relationships we have no choice over, our parents, our children, our extended family, but some we can choose, romantic relationships, friendships, close work or study relationships.

Human connection is vital for emotional well-being, it makes us feel understood, valued and loved.

We know that no relationship is perfect and that there are always things we can improve and some things can only be developed over time. We should always feel safe and respected in our relationships, that our feelings and well-being is equal of that of the other person.

Healthy and unhealthy relationship signifiers apply in all relationships, not just romantic, but also with family and friends.

Can you identify signifiers of relationships and understand which are healthy and which are unhealthy?
